Over 900 nominations and Aston Wood were shortlisted for Regional Finals West Midlands for the category Wedding Venue if the Year 2022 (other category as we are not a hotel, historic building or Barn)

The votes could also only be from Brides and Grooms who had been married at Aston Wood between October 2020 and November 2021.

On 17th January Louise and Simon went to the Regional Awards evening at the Mount Hotel in Wolverhampton and were absolutely delighted that despite an extremely high standard of competitors, Aston Wood won the category and were overwhelmed.

We were then invited with all the other regional winners to the National Final at London’s Underglobe on 23rd February.

Louise, Events Manager, Caitlin, Assistant Events Coordinator, Lucy Payne, Supervisor and Bronte Harris, Team Lead attended this glamorous event with the best of the best in the industry all in one room.

Despite not winning the National Final, to get this far for a small golf club from Sutton Coldfield was an incredible achievement and we are extremely proud of our great team who have a vision of making every event the best it can be…..and there is always next year.
